Athens Academy's Summer Program has a great variety of fun activities open to ALL students in the community! From traditional camps and sports camps to programs focused on technology and education, there's something for everyone ages 5-18!

For the 2025 Summer Camp Season, the Athens Area Humane Society is offering 2 sets of week-long camps that will provide an opportunity for children to engage in experiences that teach and encourage empathy, responsibility, and furry companionship

Camp Kelley is one of the longest standing summer day camps in our area offering a fun, encouraging environment for ages 5 to 13. This year will be our 89th summer and there really is NO PLACE I'D RATHER BE!

Athens Clarke County Leisure Services will be offering full and half-day summer camp options for ages 6 through 17. Explore the outdoors, unleash your creativity, and improve your sports skills with us this summer!

Creative Explorers Camp is a summer day camp series hosted by The Torrance Center for Creativity @ UGA designed to engage and enhance the imaginative capacities of rising 3rd-5th graders! Exploring the Earth is a nature-based, visual and performing arts, STEAM program for kids ages 7 to 12.

Foxfire Woods and Farm offers a unique summer camp experience that combines the joys of outdoor exploration with hands-on learning by teaching children about the importance of nature, healthy foods, physical activity, and animal care for ages 2.5 to 12.

Frog Stomp Studio is a children's art studio that provides drop-in open studio experiences alongside camps, children's parties and adult parties.

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, a unit of UGA Public Service and Outreach, is one of the state’s most treasured resources. This year, the garden will host educational programming offering six different week-long summer camps for ages 5-10. Each week focuses on a different outdoor theme to inspire fun and to connect with nature.

We'd love to have your kids join us for our super fun, super chill, super creative Kid's Farm Camp at Sweet Olive Farm! Kids ages 6 to 12 will learn about animal care while enjoying music, art, and farm exploration.

Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth this summer for rigorous, fresh, and fun in-person academic programs held at 10 locations in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. CTY's three-week day and residential programs for advanced learners in grades 2-12 offer 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus social activities like talent shows and dances. CTY challenges students and connects them with an engaged community of learners from around the world. Residential students in grades 5-12 experience learning and living on a college campus. Before and after care is available for day students in grades 2-6 and lunch is included. Online programs in dynamic virtual classrooms are also enrolling.

At The Studio Athens, we love the arts. Spend your Summer dancing, singing, acting, and creating at with us. Campers will explore music, movement, and art that will foster creative expression and imaginative play! 

TREEHOUSE kid and craft is a kid's shop and creative studio who puts a lot of heart into the planning of each summer camp. This year, we are offering 18 camps that incorporate sensory experiences, creativity, problem-solving, and socio-emotional concepts for ages 4 through 15!

Twisted Moon Studios is a local art studio bringing vibrant classes, parties, workshops, summer camps and more to its community. Perfect for artists of all ages and skill levels, we truly believe art is for everyone, and we are ready to help you reach your artistic potential!

The mission of Wild Earth Camp is to connect children, ages 4-13, to the natural environment while they learn and have fun. We do this through exploration, play and teaching earth skills like building natural structures, tracking wildlife, crafting, storytelling, and studying birds and native plants. We will spend all of our time outside in the fields, forest and along the streams at the 50-acre Piedmont Preserve located off of Chase St. near downtown Athens.
