This will be Treehouse Kid and Craft's 15th year of creative summer camps! And to toot our own horn, we have won the flagpole award for favorite creative kids classes all 15 years- we are incredibly proud of this!
We know that you have a lot of options in Athens for creative camps so why choose camps with us? Our educators are super qualified art teachers with a ton of art and education experiences and use quality art materials. We work with everyone to ensure that each project falls inline with our educational values and creative mission.
It is our goal to make each camp fun, engaging, nurturing, and a valuable experience. As creative educators, we love to incorporate multiple disciplines, sensory experiences, as well as socio-emotional concepts into our curriculum. If we can develop a camp that can (sneakily) incorporate math, problem solving, empathetic leadership, science, history, we will! While we think making art in general is incredibly important, we believe that encompassing real life experiences that help raise good humans is extra awesome and beneficial to the world. This is something that we value and hope that this is exciting to you and your kiddo(s)! Self-Love Club Camp

Creative Creatures and Ceramics Camp

Digital Drawings and Animation Camp

Honey I Shrunk The Art Camp

Description: This is for all of the kiddos who are obsessed with tiny things and making miniature versions of real life objects. We will be using our giant closet of our craft materials and challenging ourselves to recreate things at a small scale. We will also design and create a space for these tiny things to live. Jewelry + Charms + Accessories Camp

Dollhouse Camp

Description: Kristen is the founder of TREEHOUSE and has been an educator for decades. She loves teaching art and inspiring people to live a creative life. When she isn't working at the shop you can find her teaching around town with the Georgia Museum of Art, Athens County Jail and the 21st Century project at Coile Middle School. Digital Illustration: Characters + Comics

Description: This week we will be developing our very own characters on paper and via our digital mediums. Learning new techniques will help us as artists discover our personal styles and learn how to show emotion and tell stories through our own artwork.
Note: All students must have taken our Digital Drawing course (camp or class), taken a private intro session, or have a good understanding in the procreate program.
