Athens Academy has a great variety of activities open to ALL students in the community—you don't have to attend Athens Academy to join us for a summer packed with FUN! From traditional summer camp and sports camps to programs focused on technology, art, creativity, and more, there's something for everyone ages 5-18.

For the 2026 Summer Camp Season, the Athens Area Humane Society is offering 2 sets of week-long camps that will provide an opportunity for children to engage in experiences that teach and encourage empathy, responsibility, and furry companionship

For nearly 170 years, the Athens YMCA has been a safe, nurturing place where kids can belong, play, and grow. Through fun, enriching program  like Camp Kelley, we give children a place to build confidence an  friendships—while parents can work, recharge, and feel confident their kids are cared for.

Bear Hollow Zoo’s Story Safari half-day Mini Camps for ages 4–6 offer an engaging summer experience inside Memorial Park, where campers meet native animal ambassadors and explore the connection between stories and wildlife.

Creative Explorers Camp invites rising 3rd - 5th graders to spend an inspiring week on UGA’s main campus to explore specialty topics they don’t typically experience in a traditional classroom setting. Each day features a different theme including including art, music, nature, words, and culinary creativity!

Exploring the Earth Summer Camp is a nature-based camp designed for ages 7 to 12 that blends hands-on science, visual arts, and STEAM activities into one exciting experience for kids.

At Fox Den Third Space, we believe that children need a "third space" beyond their homes and schools, a place where they can develop independence and form meaningful relationships. Newly located within the Chase Warehouse District in Athens, Fox Den Third Space is hosting unique summer camps for ages 5 to 17 that include themes like MythBusters Camp, Out of the Box STEM Camp, and Animal Care Mini Camp.

A traveling camp that visits different locations throughout Georgia offering a variety of outdoor and indoor activities each day. Designed for ages 6 through 12.

RUSH Athens is an indoor Trampoline Park offering active and exciting STEM camps for kids ages 1st through 6th grade. Campers will explore innovative projects, compete in group challenges, and make new friends.

Week-long STEM-based academic day and residential camps for elementary, middle, and high school students on UGA's campus.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling. Join our engaging community of learners!
