Grab your rod and reel combo, some bait, and hop in the car with the family for a fishing trip nearby. The spring season calls for some lemonade! This recipe only requires 3 ingredients that you can mix together and freeze for a cool treat for this warmer weather. Use recycled cartons to create your own bird feeders at home! Sandy Creek Park

This 260-acre park offers an all-inclusive, completely enclosed playground, picnic tables, and plenty of shade. After playing, walk down to the sandy beach front or enjoy a game on one of the park's basketball, volleyball, or tennis courts. Entry into the park is $2 per person and children 3 and under are free! Open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm.
