Spend your Saturdays (and Wednesdays, too!) by supporting our local Athens Area farmers and vendors. Many of these locations offer more than just fresh produce and meats - enjoy live music, handmade crafts, baked goods, and conversations with your community members.
Athens Farmers Market (Main Weekly Market)
Where: Bishop Park located at 705 Sunset Drive, Athens, GA
When: Saturdays, year-round
- March–December: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- January–February (Winter hours): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Details: One of the area’s largest and longest-running markets with seasonal produce, flowers, meats, eggs, baked goods, prepared foods, artisan crafts, and more. Live music and a free children’s activity booth are part of the regular experience. Dogs are welcome outside the pavilion area.
Athens Farmers Market @ Creature Comforts Brewing (Mid-Week Market)
Where: Creature Comforts Brewing located at 271 W Hancock Ave, Athens, GA
When: Wednesdays, seasonal
- March – November: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Details: A smaller mid-week version of the market featuring local produce, prepared foods, and artisan goods, perfect for picking up dinner or snacks with friends. Wednesdays also have live music during market hours.
Marigold Market (Opening Day April 11)

When: Mondays and Saturdays, seasonal
