A Note From Julia

By Julia Hembree February 27, 2015
Happy Friday! Did you survive the snow? It was so pretty for a few seconds before it all turned to rain. I am so happy to see it warming back up and see the sun shining today!

Can you believe that February is over?! It feels like it flew by to me. At our house we always have so much going on, I feel like if I blink I miss something.

I am so excited about some of these events coming up in March. Mark your calendars for the Athens Kids Expo on March 7th, the Georgia Museum of Art's Family Day on March 21st, and many other great opportunities for family fun throughout the month. Monday March 2nd is Dr, Seuss's birthday! Celebrate with lots of reading with your child.

Before attending any event, it's always a good idea to confirm with the event coordinator, as changes can be made without my knowledge.

Do you have a rising Kindergartner in Oconee County? Kindergarten registration is this week on March 4th and 5th. Read this article to find out everything you need to know.

Are you following Athens Macaroni Kid on Facebook? That's where I keep you up to date with school closing during the bad weather and give you a daily calendar break down. Be sure to like Athens Macaroni Kid so you don't miss a thing!

Do you know of a great event that needs to be on the Athens Macaroni Kid calendar? Do you have an article idea? Let me know! Email me anytime at juliah@macaronikid.com.

Have a great week!
