| You're invited! Held on the Theatre-in-the-Woods stage within the Alice H. Richards Children's Garden, the Performance Series features a variety of acts, including music, storytelling, and theatrical performances every third Saturday of the month starting June through August. |

In the event of inclement weather, performances will be moved indoors to the Visitors Center.

Never visited the Alice H. Richards Children's Garden?
The Children's Garden is more than just a performance venue-- it's an interactive outdoor classroom. This nature wonderland, designed for all ages and abilities, invites guests to learn and discover while enjoying some hands-on play.
Splash in water features, dig for real fossils in the sand, cool off underneath some water-misting mushrooms, then grab a watering can to quench the fresh produce and flowers growing in the heart of the garden. Walk through the wooden arch to find a path leading to a shaded playhouse that features rope climbing, slides, musical mushrooms, and a flying squirrel net to lay in whenever you need to rest. Parents, there's plenty of shaded seating throughout so you can enjoy a break, too!
In addition to the Performance Series, the Children's Garden offers kid-friendly programming like the Sweet Pea Club for ages 3-5, Summer Camps for ages 5-10, plus seasonal events the whole family can enjoy like Winter WonderLights which is scheduled to return Winter 2025.
