Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for family, food, and fun, but keeping kids entertained while dinner is being prepared or enjoyed can be a challenge. A simple and festive solution? Printable activity placemats! Download yours and print from home on standard 8.5" X 11" paper. Set out a sheet or two for each child along with some crayons before, during, or even after dinner. Teachers, you are welcome to use these in your classrooms, too!
This sheet includes a section for kids to write or draw things they are thankful for, a fun maze, a few games of tic tac toe, Thanksgiving-themed words to unscramble, and a turkey to color. Enjoy!

Tips for Using Activity Placemats at Thanksgiving
1. Provide Supplies: Place a small set of crayons or washable markers at each child’s seat.
2. Encourage Sharing: For larger gatherings, let kids compare their work, share ideas, and help each other with the different sections.
3. Set Up a Kid’s Table: If space allows, create a kids’ table with placemats, crayons, and a few extra activities.
4. Save as a Keepsake: Encourage kids to write their names (and add the date) on the placemats. Collect them after dinner as a cute Thanksgiving memory.
