1 year already?! Spending the last 12 months as Publisher for Macaroni KID Athens has been such a heart-warming and uplifting experience. I've lived in several different cities and towns throughout the state of Georgia, but the Athens community is hard to beat. I feel fortunate to live in an area that "gives back" the way that it does. There is so much support, an abundance of resources for those in need, countless family-focused activities, and the friendliest people who work tirelessly to make it all possible.
I've enjoyed meeting other parents and their sweet families while getting to share events that everyone can go out and enjoy together. Trust me when I say, there's a LOT going on in Athens and Oconee haha! I try my best to keep up! There is always something to do because someone is always working hard to make sure this community is knitted tightly. 💜
I've learned a lot about our small businesses. They are what make these counties unique and inspiring. Behind every brick-and-mortar you see, is a heart, a name, and a family. They open their doors to us, they spend their time with us and for us. To all small business owners, you are appreciated.
To every reader who has subscribed, followed, shared, or simply taken the time to open this message, THANK YOU. I am truly touched by all of the kind comments and messages I have received over the last year. You always give me that extra "oomph" to keep going!

I can't wait to see what the next year is going to look like! I feel like the last 12 months have been a practice run and I'm finally in a groove - and just in time for the summer speed!
