Every Friday, Macaroni KID Athens shares our picks for five things to do with your kids in Athens, GA over the coming week. 

Here are Macaroni KID Athens' picks for the top five things to do in the town with kids this week. Click on the links for all the details!

1. Tie-Die Shoes

Bring your own white canvas shoes and learn how to create colorful tie-die art to decorate them using science! Art supplies will be provided.

2. Allegro: Lively Music for Children

Come sing and dance along to live music provided by Allegro's Summer Music Pop-Up Series at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia!
  June 17th at 9:30AM and 11:00AM

3. Celebrate Mud Day

Come celebrate Mud Day at the Sandy Creek Nature Center. Be sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty!
(Don't worry - they will have a washing station)
  June 17th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM


4. Honeybee Jamboree

Celebrate National Pollinator Day at the Oconee Library. Play bingo, make a craft, and hear from a beekeeper!
All ages are welcome.
  June 21st from 11:00AM to 12:00PM

5. KidsFest in Athens

It's the first day of KidsFest at AthFest! Stop by the KidsFest stage located on Washington Street (between Lumpkin Avenue and College Avenue) for music, crafts, and much much more!
  June 23rd from 6:00PM to 9:00PM
