Every Friday, Macaroni KID Athens shares our picks for five things to do with your kids in Athens, GA over the coming week.

1. "Grand Slam" Teen Summer Program at Lay Park

“Grand Slam” is a  special summertime program for individuals aged 11-17 (middle and high  school students) who reside in Athens-Clarke County.

Evenings include games, giveaways, guest speakers, life enrichment activities, music, refreshments, sports, and more.  

The program is free of charge, however online registration is required at www.accgov.com/grandslam

  June 9th from 6pm to 9pm

2. Athens Farmers Market at Bishop Park

Come to check out a variety of fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats, crafts, flowers, and other special treats. Listen to live music and participate in fun activities with your kids.
All ages welcome!
  June 10th from 8am to 12pm

3. Storytime at Harris Shoals Park

Join Ms. Carley for a storytime at Harris Shoals Park!   
We'll read a story every half hour and have a craft or activity available all morning.
We'll be under the pavilion, located behind the Farmer's Market.
All ages welcome!
  June 10th from 10:30am to 12:30pm


4. Dungeons & Dragons for Kids

Interested in playing D&D? Ages 8-12 years can drop in for a session of the fantasy table-top role playing game.
  June 13th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm

5. Mini Carnival

Come one, come all!  Try your hand at several carnival games, enjoy a balloon artist, and document your family's fun in the photo booth.
All ages welcome!
  June 14th 11am to 12pm
