Summer Camps at Athens Academy

Did you know you DON’T have to be an Athens Academy student in order spend your Summer at Athens Academy? 

Every year, half of our campers come from schools all across Clarke and Oconee Counties!  

If you’re looking for fun, safe, and high-quality summer camps, Athens Academy’s Summer Programs have over 40 different options for your family to choose from. Fun new camps include Games Galore, where elementary-aged campers will play dozens of different games and learn fun new strategies; Middle School Art Camp, taught by one of Athens Academy’s experienced art faculty members; and Spanish Mini-Immersion Camp, which focuses on improving Spanish understanding for middle schoolers. For older students (grades 6-12), we have Dungeons and Dragons Camp, where students will learn the ins and outs of the role-playing game! 

If your campers love sports, you may want to consider our athletic camps, which are coached by our own varsity coaches! Choices include Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Basketball (Girls’ and Boys’ options), Baseball, Tennis, All Sports, Cheerleading, and Fencing. Campers will spend the week practicing and hanging out with Spartan coaching staff and varsity/JV players! 

For those interested in technology camps, we have multiple sessions of Robotics camps for elementary- and middle school-aged children, as well as CAD/3D Printing and Coding Camp. Other fun offerings include Kindness and Service Camp and Babysitting Boot Camp! Local organization Strong Girls offers several camps at Athens Academy as well! 

Need fun but reliable full-day option for your campers? Combine morning and afternoon camps to create a full day’s worth of fun. We also offer a “typical” Day Camp for students age 4 through rising fifth grade, which runs from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each day for six weeks (with extended care available every morning and afternoon). Campers participate in a variety of activities each day, including art, drama, games and sports, and much more! 

Finally, summer is a great time to prepare academically for the coming years, so Athens Academy Summer Programs is pleased to offer SAT Prep and ACT Prep for high school students. Enrichment classes for elementary- and middle school-aged students are also available in reading, writing, and math! Whatever your camper’s needs or interests, you’re bound to find something fun to do this Summer @ Athens Academy!
