I was recently sent a few products from Sprout for my kids to try, and this is my honest review.
Having my second child on baby food, I've had to try out a few different brands. With my first child, I thought I could be supermom and make all of her food. I had plans to use nothing but organic food, create perfect portions, and have it ready by every meal. This turned into a quick fail and shopping for baby food began. Finding a company that uses real, pure, and organic ingredients that have no preservatives, additives, or anything artificial is actually very hard!
I was introduced to Sprout, and it fits everything I have ever looked for. It is the first company to launch complete plant powered purees and snacks with vegetable-based proteins from organic chickpeas, lentils, and beans. I don't have to worry about what the ingredients are or where the food came from. Their food is minimally processed with ingredients that are found in the kitchen and I can feel comfortable knowing that everything is USDA certified organic and doesn't contain GMOs. I also found it pretty impressive that they use organic rosemary to help maintain the freshness of their food!
The best part is that both of my kids absolutely love the taste of their food! My little girl has become obsessed with the Cheesy Spinach Crinklez. I didn’t even know that Sprout made a product that she could eat and want to bring everywhere we go. The Crinklez have a fun shape with a crunchy texture so she doesn't even realize she is eating her vegetables!
My infant loves the clear packaging of the baby food so she can see what she is eating. Often times, she wants more after she eats an entire pouch (especially if it's the Tropical Fusion with Superblend). It's also hard to find something that my kids don’t like, given there are over 20 plant powered purees and snacks! The flavors are so expansive, that even picky eaters will find something. Another added plus is that all of Sprout's plant powered purees are dairy-free and vegan friendly!
I love being able to have the one brand that I can trust to provide my kids with snacks and baby food! I also enjoy not having to spend hours in the kitchen.
