New Year's Activities at Home |
Throw A Party Create party hats, reuse plastic bottles or cans and make noise shakers, take pictures with a photo booth, have a milk and cookies toast, and have a balloon drop at midnight.
Countdown to Noon Have a paper bag for your child to open every hour until midnight. Fill the bags with games, stickers, puzzles, etc. Click here for printable clocks (for every hour in case you want to have your own "countdown to noon").
Memory Card Game Place cards upside down in a random pattern, flip over one card at a time, and try to find matching sets based off of what you remember the cards being.
Create Count Your Blessings Jar Decorate a mason jar and write 2020 blessings on the side. Write every good thing that happens in 2020 on a piece of paper and place it in the jar. On New Years Eve 2020, open the jar and read all of the blessings from the year.
