The Pearl Girls is an American jewelry company based in Athens, GA. The Pearl Girls specialize in cultured and natural pearl jewelry. Their passion is to provide high quality jewelry that celebrates all the special moments and achievements in your life.
The Pearl Girls founder is India Rows. India is a graduate of the University of Georgia. While she was traveling through Asia with her husband, she collected the names and contacts of pearl suppliers. Although India was really just interested in buying pearls for herself at the time, she did think that other women would be interested in purchasing this great jewelry at affordable prices - so her idea began to grow. She tested the market and found that women indeed wanted pearl necklaces, bracelets and earrings. The company began in 2008 in Thompson, Georgia and moved to Athens, GA a couple of years later.
The Pearl Girls have been featured in Southern Living Magazine and India is actually designing a signature Southern Living pearl necklace. She is also working on other projects such as developing a line of all-American pearl jewelry from pearls harvested in American riverbeds.
