Camp Kelley is celebrating 90 years of unforgettable summers!
Modeled after our overnight camps—Athens Y Camp and Camp Chattooga—Camp Kelley brings the adventure, character-building, and outdoor fun of a sleepaway camp into a dynamic day camp experience. Each day, campers swim, explore wooded trails, learn new sports, build teamwork skills, and dive into literacy and STEAM activities—all while making friends and memories that last long after summer ends.
At Camp Kelley, kids ages 5–13, don’t come just to pass the time—they come to GROW. Confidence, independence, and connection are built through intentional programming led by caring, trained staff. Day camp is not day care; it’s an immersive experience designed to inspire young people and help them discover their potential.

Groups will have a daily schedule that includes two snacks, swim time, and LOTS of fun activities that include sports, arts and crafts, nature walks, roller skating, dance parties, robots, and more!
Check In: Begins at 7:50am and remains open until 9:20am.
Pick Up: Begins at 4:45pm and ends at 5:45pm. If your child is 5 years old they need to be picked up by 5:30pm.
Cost: $145 per child per week. A $25 one-time non-refundable registration fee per child is required. Family membership holders will be awarded $25 off the weekly camp fee per child, per week.

New! Sports & Specialty Camps
Enhance your camper’s experience with morning Sports & Specialty Camps, offered weekly from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sports camps are $140 per week, and STEAM Camp is $155 per week. Campers may transition directly into Camp Kelley afterward for only an additional $80 per week, creating a full day of fun, learning, and adventure.

Financial Assistance Available
The Athens YMCA offers financial assistance through an application and lottery process to help make camp accessible to all families. Families may complete one online application between March 1–10. Selected families will receive follow-up details by email.
