Summer Kicks off in Athens with the opening of splash pads Memorial Day weekend!
There are two splash pads in the Athens area, Trail Creek Park and Rocksprings Park.

Trail Creek Park (formerly East Athens Community Park)
The colorful Trail Creek Park splash pad, located at 200 Trail Creek Street, has multiple elements that shoot water from the flooring as well as drop water from above. Visit this summer and see the newest additions to the splash pad.
There is a $1 admission fee (cash only). Pool passes are available for purchase and may be used at splash pads and pools.
In an attempt reduce water consumption, all water used at the splash pads is recycled through a filtering system and the re-used, again.

Splash Pad Rules
- All children must have adult supervision when entering the Splash Pad.
- Children must be potty-trained or wear a swim diaper. Diapers must be shown to the attendant before entering.
- The following items are not allowed in the Splash Pad area: drinks, food, glass, pets. strollers, or toys.
- All participants must shower before entering the Splash Pad.
- Splash Pads are a smoke-free area
- All Participants must wear a swimsuit
- No Cloth is to be worn in Splash Pads (t-shirt, jeans, socks, etc)
