Athens 5th Annual Water Festival

September 13, 2014
Take the Plunge at the 5th Athens Water Festival!

Water is Life!  Explore this life source at the 5th Athens Water Festival. Dive into interactive games, activities, music, magic, and water fun at this annual family event.

What happens at the Athens Water Festival?

Water organizations come together to make water sparkle!  With open-ended activities, participants of all ages enjoy the activities at the festival.  You don't have to tell the kids, but we splash learning into a bucket load of fun.  Most water festival activities meet the Georgia Performance Standards in science.

Magic Water!

Water is magical and Keith the Magic Man proves it.  His show, "The Magic of Clean and Plentiful
Water," reappears at this year's festival.  Be amazed by his magic and ventriloquism.

Splash Dance!

Splash in the spray from our water trucks and learn what these special vehicles do around Athens.  Meet the people who drive these trucks and discover why our water delivery system and stormwater management depend on our ACC employees!
